Moldovan cabinet approves re-distributions of allocations in state budget for awarding annual prize

Chisinau, 9 November /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet members have approved the distribution of financial means worth 623.7 million lei from the state budget for 2022 for the payment of the annual prize, salaries, other social benefits and the compensatory payment.  The decision was approved at a cabinet meeting today.    

According to the government’s communication and protocol department, the annual prize will be awarded for the results of the work in 2022 and will be distributed to the staff of the public sector units. The financial means proposed for the payment of salaries are meant, as a priority, for the primary schools, gymnasiums and lyceums which are financed on the basis of standard cost per pupil, for the payment of employees’ salaries till the end of this year.     

Under the document, financial means worth 155.7 million lei will be redistributed from the budgetary allocations approved for the payment of salaries in the public sector, including the payment of the annual prize, for the central public authorities and transfers amounting to 468 million lei will be made to the local budgets.    

At the same time, 456,000 lei from the allocations approved in the state budget for this year will be distributed for the Causeni, Edinet and Leova district councils for the payment of the one-off bill with exceptional character.
