Chisinau, 12 November /MOLDPRES/ - About 70 entrepreneurs from Moldova display their products and services at the Moldova Presents Exhibition in Iasi, Romania, on 11-13 November.

According to the president of Moldova’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Sergiu Harea, the event’s goal is to contribute to the development, promotion and consolidation of the economic and commercial relations between Moldova and Romania, as well as to the encouraging of the competitiveness of products and services, through the creation of platforms of discussions and presenting opportunities of cooperation.

„After a break of two years, we return to Iasi, this time we are much more eager for presenting to the Romanian market the Moldovan products and services, of higher quality and more competitive. The presence of a large number of Moldovan companies participating in the exhibition is an extra proof of the good-neighbour relations connecting Moldova and Romania,’’ Harea said.

Attending the event, the Iasi mayor, Mihai Chirica, said the economic relations between firms from Iasi and the ones of Moldova had become closer and closer every year. ‘’We experience difficult times, during which the super-crisis which came to the world cannot be overcome but through cooperation, responsibility and mutual support. For me, Prut is no longer a border, but a river which unites and remakes spiritual relations, building, at the same time, economic bridges. I am confident that such events as Moldova Presents prove how much we need each other, in order to make our life better,’’ the Iasi mayor stressed.

The Moldova Presents Exhibition is a projecting of the Made in Moldova national exhibition, held in Chisinau in the beginning of each year. The Moldova Presents exhibition conquered the market of Iasi in November 2016 and subsequently – the ones from Ploiesti, Brasov, Baia Mare.
