Deputy PM for reintegration visits north Moldova village

Chisinau, 24 November /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian paid a working visit to the Hadarauti commune, northern Ocnita district, his native settlement, on the sidelines of the cabinet meeting from 23 November, held in Edinet town, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
Representatives of the local public administration, local councilors, entrepreneurs, teachers and medical employees, commune residents attended the meeting, held at the community centre from the settlement. The meeting was held in semi-darkness, while Russian air strikes were heard in the neighbor Ukraine.
The discussions were focused on the problems faced by the commune’s residents. The sides evoked the latest developments in Moldova, including the energy, social and economic crisis. Taking into account that the settlement neighbours the Chernivtsi region of Ukraine, being also the place where the northern branch of the gas pipeline enters Moldova from Ukraine, the sides tackled also the subject of the Russian aggression against the Ukrainian people and its consequences for Moldova.
The mayor of Hadarauti, Iurie Lupu, thanked the central authorities for the effort made to maintain the social, economic and political stability on this complicated period.
