Moldovan cabinet approves draft of law on state social insurances budget for 2023

Chisinau, 7 December /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet, at a today’s meeting, approved the draft law on the state social insurances budget for 2023. The draft establishes the revenues and expenses included in the social insurances budget for the next year, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.   

According to the draft, overall revenues worth about 38.7 billion lei are estimated in the state social insurances budget for the next year, up by 7.5 billion lei or by 24.1 per cent more against 2022. The same sum, 38.7 billion lei, is forecast in terms of overall expenses too.  

The forecast of the revenues and spending of the state social insurances budget for 2023 was carried out based on the analysis of the dynamic of the contingent of the beneficiaries of payments, tendencies and performances recorded in the previous years and based on the forecast of the macro-economic indexes worked out by the Economics Ministry.
