Model of uniforms worn by Moldovan Interior Ministry's employees to be unified

Chisinau, 18 January /MOLDPRES/ - The Interior Ministry (MAI) employees will wear the same uniform, no matter the subdivision where they work. The cabinet of ministers today approved the norms and way of endowment with uniform of the civil servants with special status, servicemen and pupils from the Interior Ministry, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.   

The differentiation of the MAI employees will be made through the identifiable signs of the uniform, which will allow a conforming exercising of both the right and obligations of each employee in relation with the citizens. No changes will be generated as to the corporate and heraldic signs, which show the identity of the MAI subdivisions, or coats of arms, emblems and other public identification signs.  

At the same time, the right of endowment with uniform of the civil servants with special status of the MAI central apparatus, Internal Protection and Anticorruption Service (SPIA), Operational Management Inspectorate (IMO), Stefan cel Mare Academy, Information Technologies Service (STI), Migration and Asylum Bureau (BMA), Dinamo central sports club will be regulated too.    

The manufacturing of the new uniforms will be made by stages and the decision will enter into force on 1 January 2024.
