Moldovan youth can get paid internships in energy sector

Chisinau, Jan 30. /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan youth can benefit from paid internships in the energy sector. The program was launched with the financial support of the USAID and implemented by the Moldova Energy Security Activity - MESA.

The initiative aims to strengthen human capital in the energy sector by attracting young people and supporting key organizations in the sector, as well as training a workforce ready to accelerate the transition to an independent, sustainable and clean energy future.

The paid internship program is addressed to students in the last year of their bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, economics, law, finance, communication, IT and business administration, as well as to young holders of bachelor's or master's degrees who have graduated in the last five years and want to start a career in organization in the energy sector.

The partner organizations that will host the selected interns are: the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, the National Energy Regulatory Agency of Moldova, Moldelectrica, Moldovatransgaz, Energocom, Termoelectrica, Ecolibri, Term, RED-Nord, CET-Nord and FEE-Nord.

The project lasts four years, through which USAID will invest at least 59 million dollars in the consolidation and diversification of the country's energy sector.
