Moldovan PM had phone conversation with Romanian counterpart

Chisinau, February 17 /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova Dorin Recean had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Romania Nicolae-Ionel Ciucă on Thursday evening.

"The Prime Minister of Romania congratulated Dorin Recean for the vote obtained in the Parliament and for assuming the responsibility of leading the Government of the Republic of Moldova, assuring of the continuation of the dialogue and the identification of support solutions for the European integration", a press release of Bucharest government reads.

During the phone conversation, Nicolae-Ionel Ciucă invited Dorin Recean to Bucharest, "to discuss the details of inter-governmental cooperation".

The new Government of the Republic of Moldova, led by Dorin Recean, was inaugurated on February 16, following the vote of confidence granted by the Parliament. On the same day, the members of the new Cabinet took the oath before President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu.
