New Justice Minister introduced to team

Chisinau, February 17 /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Dorin Recean today introduced new minister Veronica Mihailov-Moraru to the Ministry of Justice team.

At the event, the Prime Minister said "the most difficult reform that the Republic of Moldova has to carry out is that of justice".

"We have a clear task to reform the system, to encourage as many honest people as possible to come forward and take it upon themselves to run this system. I believe that Minister Veronica Mihailov-Moraru will lead us in an accelerated way on this path", he said.

At the same time, the prime minister thanked the ministry's team for efforts, and former Minister of Justice Sergiu Litvinenco for the programs initiated and the reform.

Veronica Mihailov-Moraru is a lawyer, master of law, trainer and consultant in several projects related to justice and human rights. She has held, from 2019 until now, the position of secretary of state within the Ministry of Justice.
