Moldovan parliament speaker meets Ambassador of Saudi Arabia

Chisinau, 21 February /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu has met Bucharest-based Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Moldova Mohammed Abdulghani Khayat. The discussions were focused on opportunities of boosting the cooperation between the two states, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.    

„I know the interest you have in the agricultural sector. On the other hand, we are interested in the energy sector. In the context, one of our priorities is to attract investors in the development of the business environment. We can provide to companies the benefits of the Free Economic Zones, as well as of the IT parks,’’ Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu said.   

The officials discussed also the avoidance of the double taxation and prevention of the fiscal evasion, as well as the promotion and protection of investments. The participants in the meeting agreed on focusing efforts to foster including the inter-parliamentary cooperation between Moldova and Saudi Arabia.
