Chisinau, February 22 /MOLDPRES/- Border police employees from Otaci will have better working conditions. For over two years, the reconstruction of the SPF Otaci headquarters was delayed due to bureaucratic procedures that prevented its renovation and proper equipment, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
"Currently, the headquarters where our colleagues from SPF Otaci work is in a deplorable state. Development partners have shown their willingness to provide financial support for the reconstruction of the building. However, for the materialization of the project, it was necessary that the property rights over these real estates belong to the state", said Minister of Internal Affairs Ana Revenco.
The document approved today by the Cabinet of Ministers at the proposal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs provides for the transfer free of charge from the property of Otaci city to the state property of a real estate with an area of 1183.6 square meters and two plots of land with an area of 0.5455 ha and 0.1434 ha, located in Ocnita district, Otaci city.
It aims to improve the infrastructure of the subdivisions of the General Inspectorate of the Border Police and create working conditions aligned with European standards.
