Moldovan premier meets representatives of National Youth Council of Moldova

Chisinau, 3 March /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean has confirmed the government’s commitment to support the youth policies and promote the young generation’s interests at a meeting with representatives of the National Youth Council of Moldova (CNTM).   

According to the government’s communication and protocol department, the PM stressed the importance of implementing youth programmes, with emphasis on the cultivation of the entrepreneurial spirit and promotion, among young people, of possibilities provided by the business environment.   

„The Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA) already provides extended possibilities, in order to turn to good account young people’s entrepreneurial potential. In the long run, we want to create as many opportunities of this kind as possible. At the same time, we put emphasis on the quality of education and rely on CNTM’s support in the process of reformation of this sector. We must encourage young people to study, and through the cooperation with the government and the civil society, we should give them access to the most relevant trainings,’’ Prime Minister Dorin Recean said, noting the programmes in the research and innovation fields.     

For their part, the CNTM representatives said they would back the cabinet’s efforts and would help to achieve the goals established, for the benefit of the young people and the process of Moldova’s accession to the European Union.
