MP Marina Tauber refused to talk to government about security issues during protests

Chisinau, March 17 / MOLDPRES /- Government invited lawmaker Marina Tauber today to discuss security issues related to organizing the protests in recent weeks. The request was rejected.

Head of Prime Minister's Office Serghei Diaconu said he had a phone conversation today with Marina Tauber, one of the protest organizers. "During the phone conversation, on behalf of the prime minister, I invited Mrs. Marina Tauber to the Government to discuss the petition submitted and certain security issues related to the organization of the protests. She refused the invitation," Serghei Diaconu wrote on a social network.

In recent weeks, several national routes and streets in the center of the capital have been blocked by citizens during protests organized by opposition parties. The roads were blocked both on weekends and on working days.
