13th meeting of EU - Moldova Parliamentary Association Committee to be held in Brussels

Chisinau, March 22 /MOLDPRES/- The 13th meeting of the EU - Moldova Parliamentary Association Committee will be held on March 23 at the European Parliament.

The Chisinau delegation includes the co-head of the RM-EU CPA, Mihail Popșoi, and MPs Olesea Stamate and Ina Coșeru.

Among the topics that will be addressed at the meeting are the European integration process of our country, the progress and the geopolitical situation in the Republic of Moldova. Another topic on the agenda of the meeting refers to the consolidation of democracy and the rule of law in Moldova, justice reform and the fight against corruption. Several recommendations and a joint statement will be adopted.

Today, Mihail Popșoi and Siegfried Mureșan will hold a press conference.

CPA RM-EU represents the parliamentary forum of the EU- Moldova Association Agreement. It includes members appointed by the Parliament of Moldova and the European Legislature, who meet twice a year, alternately in Chisinau and Brussels.
