Pre-Vetting Commission completed evaluation of candidates proposed by Parliament for positions in CSM

Chisinau, March 30 /MOLDPRES/- Pre-Vetting Commission announced it has completed the evaluation of the group of candidates proposed by the Parliament for positions in the CSM and issued the last decision in this regard. Thus, the Commission issued three decisions to promote and nine decisions not to promote the evaluation.
The last evaluated was the non-judge candidate at the CSM, Alexandru Rotari, who did not pass the integrity evaluation. The conclusion is set in the decision sent today to the candidate and the Parliament, the institution responsible for organizing the competition.
The Pre-Vetting Commission evaluated 12 candidates with relevant professional experience in law, admitted to the competition by a decision of the legal commisison on rules and immunities. They have gone through the financial and ethical integrity verification process, carried out by the Pre-Vetting Commission, in order to become eligible to hold a position as a member of the CSM. Following the evaluation, the Commission issued three promotion decisions and nine decisions not to promote the evaluation, four of which were on the grounds of withdrawal from the competition or failure to submit the declaration in time for five years.
