Crude oil prices rose, following announcement of oil production cuts

Chisinau, April 4 /MOLDPRES/- Quotations of crude oil and products derived from it registered a significant increase after the announcement of the OPEC+ countries on oil production cuts. The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) made the statement today.

Brent crude oil price rose from 78 dollars/barrel to 86 dollars/barrel, and the international fuel prices increased in one day by about 40 dollars/ton for petrol and about 30 dollars/ton for diesel.

ANRE noted that the given developments also have an impact on the calculations of the final prices at the pump. Under these conditions, on Wednesday, COR 95 petrol will increase by 0.13 lei per liter and will be sold at a maximum of 25.02 lei per liter. At the same time, the diesel price will remain unchanged, at the level of 20.79 lei per liter.
