Chisinau, 7 April /MOLDPRES/ - Young people Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET), can study at the Stefan cel Mare Academy, in order to subsequently work at police inspectorates of Moldova. The action is part of a project titled, Involvement of NEET young people in the Interior Affairs system, carried out with the support of the East Europe Foundation, from resources provided by Sweden.

To benefit from trainings, young people who belong to this category can appeal to police inspectorates from the country.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, the project manager from the Stefan cel Mare Academy, Dana Andronic, has said that, in more rural zones, the access to the services of training, professional orientation and employment opportunities were limited because of the distance and the poor infrastructure.

„The people from these communities have valuable resources and qualities, such as: solidarity, work and patriotism - qualities needed for a future interior affairs employee. The project has the goal to facilitate the access of young people from the NEET category to quality educational services and their employment in MAI subdivisions,’’ Dana Andronic noted.

The project titled, Involvement of NEET young people in the Interior Affairs system, has a value of 10,000 euros, with duration of implementation of 12 months. At the same time, the initiative provides for the arrangement of leisure spaces for the project’s target group.
