Moldovan government declares 1, 2 june as days off

Chisinau, 17 May /MOLDPRES/ - The 1 June day, when Children’s Day is market, as well as 2 June will be declared as days off. The employees will subsequently recover them, through the extension of the daily schedule of work, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The provisions are enforced for the employees of the public authorities and institutions. As for the enterprises from the real sector of the national economy, the decision approved by the government has a character of recommendation. In this case, the decision to give the employees days off on 1 and 2 June will be taken by their heads.
At the same time, the exam of the Baccalaureate, due to be held on 2 June 2023, will take place according to the schedule established by the Education and Research Ministry, with the attraction of employees to work according to the provisions of Moldova’s Labour Code.
