Chisinau, May 22. /MOLDPRES/- After the continuous downward trend in fuel prices, which recently resulted in a price reducing of 2.50 lei per liter for petrol and 2.20 lei per liter for diesel, the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) reports a slight increase in the value of Platts quotations, a fact that is reflected in a daily rate appreciation that does not exceed 0.10 lei per liter.
ANRE explained that the respective price increases are exclusively due to the increase in Platts quotations for petroleum products on international exchanges, an indicator that is the basis of the current method of determining the price level.
For tomorrow, ANRE has set a maximum price for COR 95 petrol of 23.15 lei, increasing by 0.03 lei. At the same time, diesel will be sold at a maximum of 19.10 lei per liter.
