Chisinau, 23 May /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean, on a working visit to the southern Taraclia district, has visited a mini-factory of pressed cheese of the Chiriac family from the Cealic village. Through getting more grants financed by the European Union and its member states, the two spouses modernized the enterprise, the processes of processing and producing dairy products, providing a wide range of products at the highest quality standards, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

PM Dorin Recean appreciated the fact that the family had chosen to invest and start its business in the native settlement. ‘’The diligence with which Piotr and Eudochia work is an example for everybody. The Chiriac family contributes to the development of an important economic sector of the country and gives us an example of involvement and vision. I am happy that they do not stop at the progress achieved and are determined to extend their business,’’ Prime Minister Recean said.

The PM learned from business people about the difficulties they face in the work, as well as about the plans for future. ‘’We are set to extend our business, to buy more needed technique, including to purchase a big fridge for preserving the finished product. We also intend to enter the country’s tourist circuit, organizing chambers for tasting,’’ Eudochia Chiriac said.

The business was started 12 years ago. The pressed cheese is made according to an Italian technology and about 600 kg of preparations made of cow’s milk are sold monthly. So far, the family has invested more than one million lei in developing the business.

On the occasion of the visit, the Chiriac family was informed about the launch, in a short period, of the 373 governmental programme on backing entrepreneurs.
