Over 4.7 million lei spent for organization of European Moldova National Assembly

Chisinau, May 24. /MOLDPRES/- Over 4.7 million lei were spent for the organization of the European Moldova National Assembly. The event was watched online by over 240,000 citizens. The announcement was made today during a press conference by government's spokesperson Daniel Vodă.

Government took care of logistical aspects, being a working group that managed this process, and the Ministry of Culture made 2000 Moldovan and EU flags that were distributed through the State Chancellery to every locality in the country.

"These flags will fly proudly, including on national holidays in August. At the event, over 40,000 bottles of water were distributed to the participants. We appreciate public order and cleanliness left by people after the event. We all saw the images from the market after the demonstration ended, people respected the conditions and recommendations of the authorities. At the same time, the organizers rented 100 sanitary units for the gathering, including for people with disabilities that were available in PMAN. Also, 10,000 leaflets were printed, eight thousand posters were displayed in public spaces. More than 240,000 citizens watched the Assembly online only on the official accounts in the digital space. At the same time, the event was reflected in hundreds of articles", said Vodă.

He said that 28 ambulance calls were registered on Sunday, and seven people were hospitalized.
