Moldovan government creates friendly conditions for work of Associations of Irrigation Water Users

Chisinau, 24 May /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet facilitates the access of agricultural producers to irrigation and creates friendly conditions for the work of the Associations of Irrigation Water Users, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.   

To this end, the cabinet of ministers today approved amendments to the regulation on the way of giving irrigation systems to the Associations of Irrigation Water Users for free of charge use.  

The document establishes the conditions of authorization and the procedures concerning the cadastral registration and delivery to the associates of the irrigation or draining infrastructure, which is state owned or private. This will be made for an indefinite period, but which will not exceed the term of exploitation of the aforementioned infrastructure.     

The spending for the registration of the title on real estate within the state-owned irrigation infrastructure will be made at the expense and within the limit of the allocations approved on this purpose from the state budget or the one of the administrative and territorial unit and for the private infrastructure – at the expense of the owner.
