Moldova Presents exhibition to be staged in Brasov, Romania, in next June

Chisinau, 27 May /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldova Presents exhibition will be staged in Brasov, Romania, on 23-25 June. Entrepreneurs from various sectors of the national economy can submit their files on participation in the event till 31 May this year. The president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Sergiu Harea, has made statements to this effect in an interview given exclusively with the MOLDPRES Agency.     

Sergiu Harea informed that a wine festival would be organized at the exhibition this year for the first time ever. At the same time, tastings of Moldovan products and a small concert of people’s ensembles from Moldova will take place at the event.  

„We have been earlier in Brasov twice. At the current edition, we plan to have over 60 companies on the Council Square – a central place, where there are visitors not only from Romania, but also from other countries of the world. We have requests also from other counties to organize such events, but we do not manage to go everywhere, as the possibilities of our entrepreneurs are also not so great, so as to be able to weekly or monthly go to an exhibition abroad,’’ Sergiu Harea specified.  

The event due in Brasov is a projection of the Made in Moldova annual national exhibition and a continuation of the success of the exhibitions with the same title from Iasi, Ploiesti and Baia Mare, which prompted the orientation of economic agents not only to the markets where the events took place, but in general, the orientation to a common goal to reach the European market.  

The CCI president also said that, after each exhibition staged beyond the Prut river, new partnerships were established between business people from Moldova and Romania, which subsequently stay at the basis of the launch of new deliveries of Moldovan products to the Romanian market.

The current edition will be organized by CCI, in partnership with the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development, Brasov city hall and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry from Brasov. In late last week, the Moldova Presents exhibition was organized in the Cluj city of Romania for the first time ever.
