Moldovan citizen died following terrorist attack in Israel

Chisinau, Oct. 11 /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MAEIE) announced today the loss of a Moldovan citizen in Israel.

"With deep sadness, we inform you that the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Israel received the tragic news of the loss of a 35-year-old Moldovan citizen, who was one of the victims of the terrorist attack. Our fellow citizen was working near the conflict zone", the MAEIE said.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration keeps in touch with the family of the deceased fellow citizen and will provide all necessary support. "We send our sincerest condolences to the grieving family at this difficult time," the source said.

Violence between Hamas and Israel continues. Any negotiations are out of the question for now. Israel heavily bombarded the Gaza Strip overnight, destroying several buildings, while Palestinian militants fired rockets at Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International Airport. The violence has resulted in over 900 deaths in Israel and 687 in Gaza.
