Chisinau to host conference of presidents of Europe Region of APF

Chisinau, Nov. 7 /MOLDPRES/- On March 18-21, 2024, the Moldovan Parliament will host the Conference of Presidents of the Parliamentary Assembly of Francophonie (Europe region).

According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, this was discussed at the 35th European Region Session, in which MP Marcela Adam is participating these days.

The participants in the session agreed that the event will be held in Chisinau, on March 18-21, next year.

"The organization of the event in Chisinau will give us an additional opportunity to confirm our solidarity and our strong attachment to everything that encompasses Francophonie. This important event will allow us to strengthen our relations of friendship and cooperation", said Marcela Adam.

The event is focused on topical issues, such as the consequences of the war in Ukraine on Europe: systemic crisis, migration crisis, energy and economic crisis.

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophonie is made up of parliaments and parliamentary groups, formed in sections, that share the values of the Francophonie. The European Region Assembly consists of twelve member sections, fifteen associated sections and six observer parliaments.
