Aircraft with 36 Moldovans evacuated from Gaza Strip to land at Bucharest Airport today

Chisinau, Nov. 8 /MOLDPRES/- The aircraft with the 36 citizens of the Republic of Moldova, evacuated from the Gaza Strip, would land today, around 3:00 p.m., at Bucharest Airport. Prime Minister Dorin Recean made the statement at the beginning of the cabinet meeting.

"Today, around 3:00 p.m., the plane with the 36 Moldovans who were evacuated from the Gaza Strip will land in Bucharest, and already at night we will have them here at home. I thank the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, but also the other colleagues from the state institutions who worked in the last weeks to make this possible. I also thank Bucharest and the international partners who helped us in this difficult effort, including Egypt, Israel, the USA, Ukraine, Romania, who helped us recover the citizens of our country from the Gaza Strip", said Recean.

President Maia Sandu announced yesterday that 36 Moldovan citizens from the Gaza Strip were evacuated and are safe.
