French Development Agency to provide Moldova with 40 million euros

Chisinau, Nov. 8 /MOLDPRES/- Moldova will benefit from financial assistance worth 40 million euros by the French Development Agency to reform energy sector.
The report on the draft law on the ratification of a credit facility agreement was approved today at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on economy, budget and finance.
The money will be used to implement reforms in energy infrastructure and energy efficiency, as well as renewable energy.
The credit facility agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the French Development Agency was signed on October 17, 2023, during the Moldova Support Platform.
