18 companies to get grants of up to 600 thousand lei for business development

Chisinau, Nov. 9 /MOLDPRES/- A number of 18 new companies will receive non-refundable financing worth 250 thousand lei - 600 thousand lei (30 thousand euros) to invest in starting, developing, modernizing and internationalizing businesses. Their files have been approved by the Entrepreneurship Development Organization (ODA).

The total amount of funding is about 4.7 million lei, granted from the state budget or allocated by the European Union and the World Bank.

According to ODA, out of the total number of new beneficiaries, five are operating in rural areas. At the same time, six businesses are managed by young men and five by women.

The grants are awarded through the entrepreneurial support instruments of the ODA, including the Program for the digital transformation of small and medium-sized companies, the Program PARE 1+2 and the Program to improve export competitiveness and internationalisation of SMEs.
