Contest for Prosecutor General position extended

Chisinau, Nov. 24 /MOLDPRES/- The deadline for applying for Prosecutor General position has been extended by another month. The decision was taken by members of the Superior Council of Prosecutors today.
Only two candidates entered the contest: acting deputy attorney general and lawyer.
Candidates for the post must hold the citizenship of the Republic of Moldova, know the state language, have an impeccable reputation and studies in the law.
The position of general prosecutor became vacant after head of state Maia Sandu signed the decree on Alexandr Stoianoglo'd release.
