Prime Minister requested implementation of actions to streamline traffic at border during winter holidays

Chisinau, Dec. 21 /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Dorin Recean today requested those in charge to implement actions that would allow the flow of traffic at the border during the winter holidays.

"The holidays are approaching and we ask all institutions to mobilize. In particular, I want to draw attention to the situation in customs and the Airport, to supplement resources. I am asking the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Finance to increase the number of border police and customs officers so that we can process the data as soon as possible. We will also communicate with Bucharest to supplement the number of staff so that we can deal with the growing number of our citizens who come home for holidays", he said.

At the same time, he asked the Ministry of Internal Affairs to "supplement patrols" so that "citizens can travel safely".
