Chisinau, May 19 /MOLDPRES/- European Political Community Summit will bring numerous benefits not only political and economic, but also cultural. Thus, during 1-4 June, when the international delegations will be in the Republic of Moldova, a lot of cultural events will be organized to familiarize the visitors with the cultural specificity and our national values. Among them are the International Theater Festival, the Festival of Creative Industries, book launches and exhibitions.

The event is an opportunity to present the cultural potential of our country, considering the fact that about two thousand people from 47 countries on the European continent are expected.

State Secretary of the Ministry of Culture Andrei Chistol said that the delegations that come to visit us want to discover our country as it is. "What we can do better is to promote authenticity, those destinations that represent us and that can generate tourist interest even after the big event. On 1-2 June, several cultural events will be organized to bring foreigners closer to our cultural values. As an impact, all those who will come to write about our country will become the messengers of Moldova", he said.

Events of such scope give greater attractiveness to the host country. They also represent an excellent opportunity for visitors to explore and discover new destinations, thus providing a significant boost to the tourism industry.

The Republic of Moldova is the host of the European Political Community Summit, due on June 1, 2023, bringing together, for the first time, 50 presidents, prime ministers and senior European officials. The summit will take place at the Mimi Castle in Bulboaca village, Anenii Noi district, located approximately 35 km away from Chisinau.
