Moldovan fine artist displays works at National Art Museum
Chisinau, 22 October /MOLDPRES/ - A personal exhibition by fine artist Victor Cuzmenco titled, Ontological Painting 3.0, was inaugurated at the National Art Museum of Moldova today. The exhibition has about 60 works made by the authors during years.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, the deputy head of the Moldovan Fine Artists Union, Florina Breazu, said that Victor Cuzmenco was an active presence in the artistic process from Moldova.
Victor Cuzmenco was born in the Odessa region of Ukraine in 1948. In 1974, he graduated from the V. I. Surikov Fine Arts Institute from Moscow. He participated in over 250 national and international exhibitions. The fine artist’s works are present in public collections: Fine Art Museum of Moldova, museums from the Commonwealth of Independent States member countries, funds of Russia’s Culture Ministry, fund of the art centre Gheorghe Apostu from Bacau (Romania); as well as in private collections from Europe, USA, Singapore, Turkey, Israel, Russia and Ukraine.
Victor Cuzmenco organized personal exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions in Moldova, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Aachen,, Lyon, Singapore, Central House of Artists from Moscow.
The exhibition will be opened till 21 November.
