Moldovan opera singer celebrates birthday

Chisinau, 23 November / MOLDPRES /- Well-known opera singer Svetlana Strezeva (lyrical soprano), former soloist at the National Opera and Ballet Theater Maria Biesu, Emeritus Artist of the Republic of Moldova, celebrates today 70th anniversary.


She recorded at Casa Radio Chișinău creations by E. Doga, E. Mamot, T. Chiriac, S. Lîsoi, Z. Tcaci, V. Zagorschi and others. a. He has undertaken artistic tours in Bulgaria, Belgium, Finland, Italy, Romania, Russia.

Member of the Union of Musicians of Moldova. She is the winner of the M. I. Glinka (Minsk, 1981), winner of the International Competition P. I. Tchaikovsky (Moscow, 1982), diplomat of the International Competition for Young Opera Performers (1984, Sofia).

She was awarded the honorary title Artist Emeritus of the Republic of Moldova.
