Chisinau, 9 February /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau leadership requested several investments in the city from the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure.

Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban participated today in a working meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure. Attending the event were deputy mayors of the capital Inga Ionesii and Ilie Ceban.

Ion Ceban informed about the need to initiate important projects for the development of the capital. They are related to the construction of bridges, the ring road, as well as the implementation of energy efficiency programs.

Ceban reiterated the importance of drawing major investments in Chisinau, and their lack has led to the stagnation over time of social and economic development and degradation of the city's infrastructure.

The mayor said that the municipality will continue to work with central public authorities to change things for the better in the capital of Moldova.
