Energocom to supply Termoelectrica with almost 1.9 million MWh of gas during cold season
Energocom company will ensure the supply of natural gas to Termoelectrica for the period October 2026 – April 2027, including for the months January–April 2027, when the contracted volume reaches 1,911,100 MWh, equivalent to approximately 180.5 million cubic meters of natural gas.
According to Energocom, for the first four months of 2027 the volumes contracted by Energocom Trading for Termoelectrica are 647,008 MWh in January, 569,330 MWh in February, 493,679 MWh in March, and 201,083 MWh in April.
The natural gas is intended for the production of thermal and electric energy by Termoelectrica, the largest natural gas consumer in the Republic of Moldova.
Previously, Energocom Trading contracted for Termoelectrica 618,438 MWh for October and November 2026 and another 600,412 MWh for December. Thus, the company will ensure the supply of natural gas to Termoelectrica for the entire period from October 2026 to April 2027.
