Chisinau, Nov. 14 /MOLDPRES/- Investment Agency has a new director. The position will be filled by Natalia Bejan, who promoted the contest in this regard. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Dumitru Alaiba made the statement today.
"Natalia Bejan has international experience, having worked in the private sector in the Czech Republic and in China for many years. But most importantly - I saw competence, dedication and willingness to contribute. Natalia graduated from ASEM, after which she did a master's degree in Economics at Charles University in Prague and advanced studies at Stanford", said Dumitru Alaiba.
He noted that Moldova needs investments. "That's a big part of the solution to getting our economy back on sustainable growth with good-paying jobs, innovation and business opportunities. We will team up and work together to achieve this goal. I'm glad to see that more and more people are leaving their comfort zone, leaving well-paid jobs, returning from the diaspora, and getting down to work, working side by side," he said.
The post of director of the Investment Agency remained vacant this March, after former head Marin Ciobanu resigned.
