Slovakia to further support Moldova on European integration

Chisinau, 16 September /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița had a meeting with Ivan Korčok, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, who was on an official visit to Chisinau. The premier thanked the Slovak state for the donation - a batch of 10,000 PCR tests for COVID-19, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

The premier said that Slovakia constantly supported Moldova during the pandemic period, including by purchasing medical equipment and protective materials for several hospitals in the country. At the same time, Gavrilița noted that Slovakia has always supported Moldova's European integration.

"We appreciate Moldova has become a priority country for Slovak assistance. The programs implemented with the support of Slovakia have made a significant contribution in several important sectors for our country, including: water and sanitation, solid waste management, creating a competitive environment, health, combating poverty, education, growth and industry, innovation and infrastructure ", Natalia Gavrilița said.

Ivan Korčok said Slovakia will further support Moldova on European integration.
