Almost 70 per cent of teachers immunized against COVID-19 in Moldova
Chisinau, 3 September /MOLDPRES/ - Almost 70 per cent of the teachers from Moldova have been immunized against COVID-19. Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita made statements to this effect at the beginning of a today’s cabinet meeting.
The PM noted that figures showed that the government’s urges had been heard. ‘’We see that this Delta variant is much more aggressive and attacks young people. We have already a dramatic case in Soroca, where young people became victims of the virus,’’ Gavrilita said.
She asked the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission to hold a meeting. The demand comes in the context of the increase in the number of infections with COVID-19.
