
As many as 1,130 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours
Chisinau, 7 December /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 2,163 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,130 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which one import case. As many as 117,495 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data put out by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 54 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians – 19, medical assistants –23, auxiliary staff employees – 12.
A number of 3,870 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are put in hospitals, of whom 281 are in extremely serious condition (54 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).
In the context, 8,119 persons are treated at home with easy forms of coronavirus and 30,222 are under supervision at the domicile.
Another 694 people have been treated and discharged. As many as 101,938 people were treated of COVID-19.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 19 deaths triggered by COVID-19, with 2,438 people dead because of the virus till present.
