Chisinau public health commission to convene in meeting
Chisinau, 21 December /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban requested convening of a meeting of public health commission.
Ceban said today at the online meeting of the municipal services that he paid an unexpected visit to several public catering institutions, where he found that the protection rules against COVID-19 infection are not observed.
Given the increased number of coronavirus cases, he requested the convening of a meeting of the public health commission to set up several rules of protection against the new coronavirus in bars and restaurants in the capital.
Ceban noted that discussions were held with representatives of HORECA sector to prohibit parties on winter holidays, but not all restaurant managers are receptive to requests of the municipal administration.
The public health commission could officially ban the celebration of the end of the year in bars and restaurants and set up new rules of conduct to reduce coronavirus infection.
