Medicines Agency authorized import of anti-COVID-19 drug
Chisinau, 8 September /MOLDPRES/- Medicines Agency has authorized the import of Remdesivir in Moldova. AMDM head Eremei Priseajniuc signed an order to this effect.
According to AMDM, the drug will be brought under the name of Covifor and is the first drug authorized in the US and EU for the treatment of the new coronavirus.
The medicines will reach the country in a maximum of 20 days. In our country, the Remdesevir is set out in the national protocol used in the treatment of COVID-19 infection.
