Moldova team won medals at Balkan Junior Informatics Olympiad
Chisinau, 5 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Moldova team won a silver and a bronze medal at the Balkan Junior Informatics Olympiad, held in Dorohoi, Romania, on 29 August -3 September, the Ministry of Education and Research (MEC) announced today.
According to the MEC, the silver medalist is Oleg Rață, a pupil of Nicolae Milescu-Spătarul Theoretical High School in Chisinau, and the bronze went to Alin Popescu, a pupil of Orizont Theoretical High School in Durlești, Chisinau.
48 pupils from 11 countries participated in the event, Moldova being represented by four pupils and two teachers.
