Over 10,000 voters called for mobile ballot box
Chisinau, 1 November /MOLDPRES/- The Central Electoral Commission announced that, according to information from 10 constituencies, 10,075 voters have requested voting by mobile ballot box so far. These represent the districts: Anenii Noi, Briceni, Cimișlia, Criuleni, Dondușeni, Drochia, Dubăsari, Nisporeni, Râșcani and Taraclia.
According to CEC data, out of the total number of requests, 338 are from voters with symptoms of COVID-19 respiratory infection, and in 9,737 cases other grounds.
In this context, the CEC leadership reminds citizens who for health reasons or other good reasons cannot come to the polling station, may request in writing by 15:00 at the polling station to vote with a mobile ballot box, presenting the medical certificate.
According to the data presented by CEC head Dorin Cimil, by 12:00 over 460 thousand voters or about 17% voted today.
