Special Commission launches contest for selecting candidates for Ombudsman office in Moldova
Chisinau, 28 December /MOLDPRES/ -The special commission for the selection of candidates for the office of Ombudsman today informed that it initiated the contest for the selection of two candidates for the position of Ombudsman.
According to the quoted source, to be able to run for the office of Ombudsman, people interested must be citizens of Moldova; must not be subjected to any measure of judicial protection; should hold degree diploma; must have length of service of at least 10 years and a famous activity in the field of defence and promotion of human rights.
On the period 29 December 2021 – 21 January 2022, the candidates can personally submit, by mail or e-mail, the file on participation in the contest. The deadline for the file’s submission is 21 January 2022.
The file on participation in the contest will contain the following acts: application on participation in the contest; Curriculum vitae; motivation letter; copy of the identity card; copy of the education diploma; acts which confirm the length of service of at least 10 years; reference from two persons; certificate of health; criminal record; declaration on one’s own responsibility proving that he/she has no interdiction to hold a public office; agreement for the processing of personal data and a declaration of assets and personal interests.
The position of Ombudsman became vacant, after the parliament on 9 December 2021 had approved the application on resignation of Natalia Molosag.
