Chisinau, 15 January /MOLDPRES/ - The public institution, Centre for Reforms’ Implementation, will be dissolved. The cabinet approved a draft decision to this effect today.

Under the document, after the government approves the decision, the State Chancellery will set up, in a 30-day period, a liquidation commission and will create a commission on the transmission of the public property assets to the State Chancellery.

At the cabinet meeting, Government’s Secretary General Liliana Iaconi said that the decision on liquidation had come as a result of the unveiling of the activity report for 2017-2019.

Prime Minister Ion Chicu noted that the liquidation of this centre would not mean the lack of reforms in the state institutions. “We no longer need such an institution, even if much work has been carried out there in the last years. The State Chancellery will deal with the reforms,” Chicu added.

Centre for Reforms’ Implementation was set up in January 2017 and had the task to ensure the efficient and coordinated implementation of the reforms at the governmental level, through the creation of a modern and efficient administration system.
