Chisinau, April 21 /MOLDPRES/- Traditionally, on Easter of the Departed, Moldovans go to cemeteries with the whole family, and spread festive meals in memory of the deceased. In this context, the National Food Safety Agency (ANSA) strongly recommends avoiding the consumption of easily perishable food products, with an increased risk of toxic infection.

According to ANSA, it is about salads based on mayonnaise, eggs, meat and meat products, fish and fish products, pastries, in open spaces, in the absence of special storage conditions, because the exposure of the mentioned products to high temperatures and others external factors, which can cause the development of microorganisms, including pathogens, and their toxins, lead to food spoilage and the production of food poisoning.

Detected non-conformities can be reported by consumers to the Agency's phone numbers: 022-26-46-43, Viber – 067675544 or to the e-mail addresses: info@ansa.gov.md and comunicare@ansa.gov.md. At the same time, citizens can call, free of charge, the Agency's Green Line phone number 0 800 800 33, from any telephone network, to report irregularities in food safety.

In the weekend, in some localities on Monday as well, the Easter of the Departed will be celebrated in Moldova.
