Chisinau, 18 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Customs Service recommends that the carriers properly endow their transport means and avoid, as far as possible, moving to the customs checkpoints placed at the Moldovan-Romanian next night.

According to the customs authorities, blockages are recorded on some national roads and for this reason, the movement is complicated for trucks.

„More trucks are still waiting nearby the customs checkpoints placed at the Moldovan-Romanian border to move to control; yet, the capacity of the Customs Service to process a larger number of trucks is strictly dependent on the possibility of their movement after the customs clearance, or the customs employees of Moldova can process and allow the passing of as many trucks as the latter physically can pass to control to the Romanian side, without blocking the access road,’’ the institution said.

The State Administration of Roads today evening informed that the traffic took place in winter conditions on the country’s roads and the road enterprises of the Drumuri (Roads) stock company carry out works of clearing snow and combating the glazed frost. Thus, territorial units intervened on road segments from the districts of Hancesti, Nisporeni, Calarasi, Ungheni, Straseni and other districts.
