Chisinau, 21 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldovan alcoholic and vine and wine production will be exempted from the compulsoriness of assessment of the conformity. The parliament adopted a law to this end in the second reading today.

The document sees the adjusting of the national legislation in the sector of alcoholic production and the vine and wine production to the European Union’s rigours.

Once the certification excluded, the responsibility for the products’ quality belongs fully to the economic agents. The compulsory certification is maintained for the same production coming from import.

Also, the compulsoriness of holding the card of vine-grower is excluded, as this card contains information similar to the one from the fiscal invoice and other documents which accompany the goods at the sale.

At the same time, to give possibility to sell their goods to the producers of grapes who own small areas of vine plantations, but with potential for the wine-making industry, as well as to the ones of table grapes, demanded by consumers, the act adopted stipulates that the limit of area schedule for registration in the vine and wine Register should be reduced to 0.1 hectares.
