Anniversary exhibition by Moldovan fine artist inaugurated at Constantin Brancusi Centre

Chisinau, 16 June /MOLDPRES/ - An anniversary exhibition titled, So Art!, dedicated to the 75th birthday anniversary of fine artist Gheorghe Soitu, was inaugurated at the Constantin Brancusi Exhibition Centre today.   

Contacted by MOLDPRES, the head of the Moldovan Fine Artists Union, Florina Breazu, said that this was a novel exhibition, on which the author had worked in the last two years, on the pandemic period.

Gheorghe Soitu was born in the Baurci village, southern Cahul district, on 7 July 1947. He finished the Cahul-based Fine Arts School and the Alexandru Plamadeala Fine Arts College from Chisinau. Soitu had exhibitions in Moldova and abroad.

The exhibition comprises over 100 works and will be opened till 3 July.
