Chisinau, 27 July /MOLDPRES/ - Over 110 young musicians from Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, Finland, Hungary, Spain and the Netherlands today will perform at a concert - classical music evening -, held at the Digital Park from Chisinau at 19:30.
According to the organizers, following five months of assiduous organizations, preparations started for the second and the most important part of the project – signing of the Symphony No 9 by Beethoven in Chisinau and Sibiu. The Symphony No 9, Ode to Joy, is the musical work with the strongest message of peace and solidarity out of all works ever composed. Thus, 60 instrumentalists, 45 chorus singers (chorus of philharmonics from Chisinau and Vinnytsia) and four soloists will sing together at a concert, in order to convey, through music, a message of solidarity for Ukraine and a firm NO to the war.
A well-known conductor from Romania, Gabriel Bebeselea, will conduct the singers.
