Topic-related exhibition staged at Moldovan parliament's headquarters on occasion of national holidays
Chisinau, 25 August /MOLDPRES/ - A topic-related exhibition titled, Language, Motherland and Nation…, is organized at parliament’s headquarters on the occasion of the national holidays, Independence Day and Romanian Language Day.
According to the parliament’s communication and public relations department, the exhibition has over 90 volumes, selected from collections of Moldova’s National Library (BNRM), the parliament’s library and museum, which shows the fight of the ancestors for independence, tricolor flag, Romanian language, Latin alphabet and national identity.
Among the works displayed, there are albums, books, periodical publications and booklets, which provide an ample outlook on the important aspects of the political life of the 1989-1991 years, of the national revival movement and getting of Moldova’s independence. The publications are divided in the following sections: Fragments of memories…; Standard Bearers of Independence; Romanian language – foundation of our immortality; Moldova in the European family.
Among the exhibits which are distinguished, there is the speech given by the senior, Ion Borsevici, at the opening of the first session of the Supreme Soviet of the Moldovan Soviet Socialist Republic on 17 April 1990.
The exhibition is organized by the information resources section of the parliament’s secretariat, in cooperation with BNRM. It will be opened for visitors during 25 August – 25 September 2023.
